    Cape League Update!
    New England players in the Cape Cod League have dwindled from 35 at the beginning of the season, to 27 last week, down to the current 22.     Draft update Thanks to Rick Petersen for pointing out two more New England High School baseball players drafted on Tuesday. Both right-handed pitcher Chris Gale (30th round, Pirates) and catcher Tanner Munsey (48th round, Twins) hail from Oyster River High School in Durham, N.H. (home of UNH).

    Bates College senior Jason Coulie surprised everyone in being the first Division III baseball player from New England to be drafted in Monday's Major League amateur draft.
